CBSE makes third language mandatory for classes 9 and 10 for pass certificate
A road accident occurred in New Town on Tuesday morning when a private passenger bus operating on the Bangur to Shapoorji route suddenly lost control and crashed into a roadside guardrail. The incident took place at around 7:00 AM while a substantial number of daily commuters were on board the vehicle. The sudden impact caused widespread panic inside the vehicle and resulted in multiple passengers sustaining injuries.
Following the collision, local onlookers and authorities rushed to the scene to assist the distressed passengers inside the vehicle. The injured commuters were immediately tended to and evacuated from the crash site. Meanwhile, police personnel from the New Town Police Station arrived at the spot to manage the situation, control the traffic flow, and secure the accidental vehicle.
The private bus has been seized by the authorities and towed to the New Town Police Station for further inspection. Law enforcement officials have detained the bus driver and are currently conducting a detailed interrogation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
